RV Winterizing and Storage Do’s & Don’ts

Each year we go through the important steps of winterizing our RV and preparing to store it over the winter. Keep in mind these important do’s and don’ts as you move through the process.

DON’T store your RV with the season’s grime.
DO give your RV a thorough wash inside and out, inspecting sealants as you clean.

DON’T use automotive antifreeze, it is extremely toxic.
DO use an approved water system antifreeze, we recommend a propylene glycol based product.

DON’T forget to check your anode rod (for suburban style water heaters).
DO monitor your anode rod and replace when needed. RV camping adventure travel RV ideas adventure travel RV place
